This is my real story with the ups and downs, what stuff didn’t work and what I took from the program that really helped me improve my financial situation. I will reveal what happened to me 2 years after joining the 21^st Century Academy…

You see, I am a parent with a growing family.  One day, I almost had a panic attack when I realized my wages were not enough to support all of us into the future.

I read the book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” and decided I had to open my own business and generate some cash flow to invest in shares or property. I lost a lot of money on that business and had to get back to a 9 to 5 job. My first son was about to pop and I didn’t have much choice.

That’s when I found the 21^st Century Academy website and decided to spend money on the homestudy and of course pay in as many installments as I could.

It’s definitely information overload with a lot of different strategies to choose from. I’m a very anxious person so I felt like applying every strategy I learned. I held on to it.

But something happened…

I decided to pick one strategy and really apply it to see if it worked. I chose one internet marketing plan called “affiliate marketing” and took action.

I made enough money to pay for the homestudy and I kept learning from other courses.

Some people think the program is a scam because Jamie is a really aggressive salesperson and give some people a hard time. I couldn’t disagree more.

I learned a lot, especially from the mindset training and from the live event that was very motivating.

Some people I met on the event had never put the things they learned into practice, so their story is not nice, but some others really took on it and managed to make a difference.

My suggestion is that after you join, go through everything and choose one strategy that fits you well, something that you will enjoy doing in the future.

Two years passed and I lost my job on March 09 during the recession, but fortunately I was working on my internet business part-time at night and managed to generate enough income to avoid going back to the rat race again.

I have 3 kids now and I will never stop learning and taking action on what I’ve learned.

I choose to make money with internet marketing and the first thing I did after watching one the homestudy DVD’s was to test the strategy suggested. It worked and I made enough money to pay for the program.

But I didn’t stop there. I searched for everything I could get my hands on related to internet marketing and for the last 2 years I kept studying.

I learned from the 21^st Century Academy program and from my personal experience that the ones that achieve success are willing to take risks and are persistent. All of the so acclaimed gurus had difficulties when beginning.

As I say throughout my review of the program, pick one strategy and apply it consistently, until it delivers results. I don’t believe in “get rich quick” schemes, but I believe it is possible to anyone.

You will learn enough strategies in the course and you’ll definitely find something for you.

I even started to trade options after taking a course. Everyone says options are risky, but I was able to make some money following a proven plan.

Important Considerations:

• To apply some of the strategies presented by the speakers, you will need more in-depth knowledge.  It is likely that you will feel you have to buy another program. Don’t do it until you have listened to everything.  Wait until the very end of the seminar and then make a thoughtful decision.
• The Home Study DVDs have valuable and extensive content, but beware that some videos are not of the highest quality.
• There are more than 50 DVDs included in the home study so you will need to commit some time to follow the entire program.
• The live seminar starts at 9am and can sometimes run until Midnight!  It can be exhausting.  Be sure to get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and prepare to absorb as much of the information as you possibly can.

Tips To Maximize Your Results:

• Commit to watching all the DVDs. Even if you think you have seen enough and found the perfect strategy, be patient and watch the entire program.  Just when I thought there couldn’t possibly be more to learn, I would watch the next DVD and realize that one was the best so far.
• Start with one strategy and stay focused. Again you will be compelled to try to do several things at the same time.  Consider this quote from Jamie, “You overestimate what you can do in one year and underestimate what you can do in ten.”
• During the seminar, take advantage of the opportunity to network and don’t be shy.  Talk to other graduates and ask them to share their experience. Ask a lot of questions to the speakers and their support people, they are there to help you.  This will help make you feel comfortable and confident enough to take the next steps.

I’ve always procrastinated writing down my goals and focusing my vision of the future. But after attending the seminar, I now make it a point to review my goals every day and I can tell you that many of them, I have already achieved.

I recently bought a book called “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” by Harv Eker. A lot of things he write about in his book are not new.

Two things he mentions in his book made a big impression on me:

1) Your Money Model

Each of us has a set of beliefs that determine how we think and act about money. These beliefs are known as our “Money Model”.

No matter how good my financial strategies and qualifications are, my “Money Model” determines my financial outcome. For example, if I learned from my parents that “I never have enough money” and subconsciously I still hold this belief, I will never make money.

2) My Inner World Creates My Outer World

This is related to the previous idea. But what it means to me is that I need to take care of my inner world before doing anything.

If I don’t change the way I think and remove my old beliefs, my results won’t change either.

So I need to do my meditations, affirmation or any other techniques to create a wealthy mindset and then I will see positive results happening.

I got to this conclusion because I was not getting all the results I wanted from my business efforts. Then I decided to find out why. I learned that my problem was I was not spending any time on my self-development activities and hoping to get better results.

We all need balance and that’s the secret to success in any field.
