Since I joined the 21st Century Academy I never stopped learning. Reading wealth creation and self development books has become a routine to me.

Jamie McIntyre teaches us the best investment is in our education and I took this advice seriously.

I recently bought a book called “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” by Harv Eker. A lot of things he write about in his book are not new.

Two things he mentions in his book made a big impression on me:

1) Your Money Model

Each of us has a set of beliefs that determine how we think and act about money. These beliefs are known as our “Money Model”.

No matter how good my financial strategies and qualifications are, my “Money Model” determines my financial outcome. For example, if I learned from my parents that “I never have enough money” and subconsciously I still hold this belief, I will never make money.

2) My Inner World Creates My Outer World

This is related to the previous idea. But what it means to me is that I need to take care of my inner world before doing anything.

If I don’t change the way I think and remove my old beliefs, my results won’t change either.

So I need to do my meditations, affirmation or any other techniques to create a wealthy mindset and then I will see positive results happening.

I got to this conclusion because I was not getting all the results I wanted from my business efforts. Then I decided to find out why. I learned that my problem was I was not spending any time on my self-development activities and hoping to get better results.

We all need balance and that’s the secret to success in any field.
